Coach Jeff Lindsey - Director/President

Jeff is a 1992 graduate of Richard King High School in Corpus Christi, TX where he hit .333 as a prep star.

Jeff's college career started at Brown Mackie College in Saline, KS. In his first year Jeff started at third base and helped lead his team into the regional finals. Jeff batted .396 and had a fielding percentage of .996. The second year on the team Jeff was named captain. He batted .420 and lead the team in hits, runs, and on base percentage.

Jeff transferred to Oakland University in Rochester MI. There he was a solid second baseman and earned All-League honors. The second year on the team he was named team captain.

In 1997-99 Jeff was an assistant coach at Grand Valley State University. Jeff's main responsibility as a Lakers assistant was with the outfielders and with hitting. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Business degree from Grand Valley State University.

Jeff coached ten season as head coach at Western Michigan Christian High School. He took over as WMC head coach after spending two years as the JV coach. Jeff is currently the varsity head baseball coach at Spring Lake High School. He took over after one year as the JV head coach. 

Jeff has a love for the game that he can't explain.

If it wasn't for his wife he wouldn't be in baseball today. Jeff has been married for over 17 years. He and his wife, Erin, have three children: Addison , Isiah and Elyce. The kids have two dogs and two tree frogs.

Jeff is employed by Frito Lay as a Salesman.

Brian Houts - Director/Operations

Brian is currently the Head JV Baseball Coach at Spring Lake High School. He played baseball on the west coast in California and retired from the Military (U.S. Coast Guard) after 22 years of service. He has been coaching at various levels, Youth and High School, for 17 years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Health Science with an emphasis on Exercise Science and is currently attaining his Master’s Degree in Sports Management. 

Brian is married and has two children, Cody and Kyle, both of which received athletic scholarships to play baseball at the collegiate level.  

Matt Geoghan - Director of Softball

1994 Graduate of Reeths-Puffer High School, hit .497, School record in average, hit's per year and fewest strikeouts in a season (1), and assists as a catcher; also played pitcher, 3B

1994-1998- Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, IN
   - All-Conference; All-Regional Team, All-American at catcher; hit .450 in senior year
   - Catcher, 1B, 3B, OF

1999-2000: Minor League; Frontier League and Texas-Louisiana League, catcher

1998-2001: Coached at nationally ranked Lawrence Elkins High School in Houston, TX under National Coach of the Year (2002) Rick Carpenter. Elkins has produced professional players James Loney (L.A. Dodgers), Chad Huffman (N.Y. Yankees), Matt Carpenter (S.L. Cardinals, minor league)

2001-2002: JV Coach at Muskegon Catholic Central

2002-2008: JV Coach/Var. Asst. at Reeths-Puffer High School

Hitting Instructor at Morgan's Hitting Club, Line Drives and presently at Extra Innings.
